Solutions for the 1984 -1987 Lincoln Continental Suspension Problems
If you have replaced the air springs and the compressor fails, then it would make good sense to replace the compressor and continue with the air.
If you are experiencing any other failures, this air suspension system can be replaced with a non air suspension conversion kit. A four wheel kit is an end all to future problems, however, two wheel kits are available and is a step in the right direction to moving away from the failing air suspension system.
Handling is improved and these kits come with a Lift-Time warranty. Anyone who can install brake pads can install the conversion kit.
