Solutions for the 1995 -1996 Lincoln Continental Suspension Problems
If you have replaced the an air strut or air spring and the compressor of
other air suspension part fails, it would make good sense to continue with
the air.
If you are experiencing the first signs of failure you should consider
the spring conversion kit. It's not expensive and since you are leaving
the electronic struts and shocks, the ride will not be compromised. The
springs merely support he weight of the car. You can venture into replacing
air suspension parts, but remember that the Lincoln air suspension system
has relays, solenoids, height sensors, levelers, modules, and etc and in time
much of this will fail. The Continental non air suspension conversion
kit carries a Life-Time warranty.
