Lincoln Continental Air Suspension 1988 - 1994
What Goes Wrong
with the 1988 -1994 Lincoln Continental Suspension
The Lincoln Continental Air Suspension System generally functions well until
time catches up to it. The air springs are made of rubber and after
five to seven years, based on extreme heat and cold and local road conditions,
become subject to cracking. As the air struts move up and down, the
rubber stresses where it folds under. Most air struts will pass a visual
inspection because the cracks are hidden. As these cracks become small
leaks, sometimes when parked a certain way or the brakes being applied, the
compressor runs more than it was designed. It may continue to pump the
car up when started but go down in the evening when parked. When the
compressor fails, the car refuses to raise.
Simply replacing the air compressor will only cause unnecessary expenses
to replace it again. It is not required to replace more than the defective
strut but if none have been replaced before be aware that the other three
are the same age and will soon follow with failure of the Lincoln air suspension
system.
Also, experience proves that the electronic devices; relays,
modules, actuatiors, levelers, height sensors, etc will all fail in time adding
to expense and down time.
Testimonials from Satisfied Customers:
"My '90 continental has been flat for 4 weeks or so -all fours. I've already
spent about $1500 on 2 Bagmaster struts and solenoids or other controllers
on 2 separate service calls last year. Now I could be facing another one or
two struts and possibly a compressor and drier.
OUCH ! But the worst part is that even if I replace ALL the parts there'll
be no guarantee to cover those parts in the event something goes wrong
in 6 mos. or a year with the NEW parts never mind the unreplaced ones. No
matter how much I spend I'm not covered beyond 3 mos or so. That's what
makes your new parts lifetime warranty so appealing."
"Just wanted to say thank you! I have been through so much with this car.
I had the engine and transmission rebuilt (as well as other numerous repairs)
thinking I would be set for a good while. Only to have the air shocks
go out. Great, new engine and transmission and I can't even drive the car
because of the shocks! The biggest shock was how much the dealer wanted to
replace them, then with little guarantee of no major future problems. Refusing
to pay more for shocks than the cars was even worth, I looked for alternatives.
You have the best product and price that is available. Thanks for giving
me back peace of mind and my ride. I feel like I just got a new car."
– Steve M.
"Once again I would like to tell you how pleased we are with the new system
on our Lincoln. We recently had a four wheel alignment done and asked them to check
out the struts. They were impressed with the system and said it did not create any
problems with the alignment. Thank you for providing a way for us to enjoy our
Lincoln again without breaking our bank account."
– Richard F.
"I had your full conversion kit installed on my '89 Lincoln Continental last week with no problems. My compliments to you for your product. What has been "nightmare" for some years has simply and economically gone away. I enjoy the way it handles and have found new faith and enjoyment in the car overall."
"Just wanted you to know that we received the kit yesterday, and today the folks that sold us our car installed it for us. It's GREAT! Thanks! We really appreciate you making the kit available to us and thanks for the discount! We will pass out the flyers for sure! Thanks again!" – Larry and Teresa
"I want to thank you people. My 1994 Lincoln has never been so good. I had my air
ride changed over to the strut replacement kit you sold me and my car has new life again!
It does not ride much different at all and it handles much better with less lean on
corners and more responsive handling overall. Thank-you again for a wonderful product!"

We strongly
suggest that you change the dryer whenever you need to change either the air springs or
the air compressor. A bad dryer allows water to get into the springs, damaging your new
investment. As the dryer gets filled with moisture, the back pressure can overload and
burn out your compressor.
Our
remanufactured compressors are completely disassembled and remanufactured
from the ground up. We replace all the high wear parts such as bearings,
sleeves, and bushings with name brand parts. Our compressors are inspected
and tested numerous times before leaving the factory. We not only remanufacture,
we make them better.
