The Lincoln Mark 8 air suspension system is a microprocessor controlled
active air suspension system. The microprocessor constantly determines
the height position of the vehicle body relative to the wheels. Air
suspension height sensors use vehicle speed to determine the proper trim
height. At 65 mph, the Mark VIII air suspension system lowers the vehicle
trim for a more stable ride at high speed profile.
